How to sort TikTok by views

Sort a TikTok profile by most viewed in 4 steps

TikTok's web profile lets you switch between Latest, Popular and Oldest, but there is no sort by views. Popular is close, and its order isn't the same as views (see most viewed TikTok for an example). SortViral adds that sort, plus three others.

1. Add SortViral to Chrome on a computer. It's free, with no sign-up and no card.
2. Open a TikTok profile while you're signed in to TikTok. A bar appears above the video grid.
3. Click Views. The grid re-sorts in place, biggest first. The rest of the profile loads in the background and slots into the right place as it arrives. You don't scroll, and the page doesn't either.
4. Hover any video for its numbers, or click it to open the player and step through the sorted list with ← and →.

In that example his usual is 2.6M views per Reel. His Reel from 4 August 2026 got 32,010,675 views, which is 12.1× his usual (public data, 6 October 2026). On TikTok the bar and the chips are the same.

The four sorts, and when to use each

The bar has the same chips on every page: Newest, Views, Outlier and Rising, plus engagement.

• Newest puts the grid back in posting order.
• Views sorts by total views. Use it to see a creator's biggest videos of all time.
• Outlier sorts by views divided by the creator's usual. The usual is the median of their 30 most recent videos, leaving out pinned videos and videos under 3 days old. Each score shows its baseline, for example "6× · median of 30". Use it to find videos that did far better than normal for that creator, which is often more useful than raw views.
• Rising sorts by views per day, for videos under 30 days old. Use it to see what is taking off this week, before it has time to reach the top of the views list.
• Engagement sorts by how much people interacted with each video, not just how many saw it.

If you only try one sort after Views, try Outlier. A creator's top video by views is often years old. Their top outlier tells you what worked recently and worked well above their normal reach.

Where it works on TikTok

The bar works on more than profiles:

On the For You feed SortViral doesn't re-sort anything. It adds a badge to each video with its views compared to that creator's usual, so you can tell a real breakout from a big account's normal day while you scroll.

What you see on each video

Hover a video in the sorted grid to see:

• Views, likes, comments, shares and saves
• The outlier score and its baseline
• Engagement
• Views per day
• The date it was posted

Click a video to open the player. It shows the transcript next to the video, so you can read the opening lines of the top 10 without watching each one. Use ← and → to go to the next video in your sorted order.

Keep what you find

• Bookmarks: save single videos you want to come back to.
• Watchlist: save creators, then scan all of them at once for their biggest outliers in a date range. This is how you check 20 competitors in one go instead of opening 20 profiles.
• CSV export: download the sorted list with its numbers for a spreadsheet.
• Copy for AI: copy the top videos and their numbers to paste into ChatGPT, Claude or another assistant. SortViral can also connect directly to Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf (use with AI).
• Formats: groups a creator's videos into formats and ranks them by median outlier, so you see which kind of video works best for them. This uses Chrome's built-in AI, on recent computers.

Is it safe for my TikTok account?

SortViral only reads what you can already see while signed in. It waits about a second between requests and stops when TikTok shows a limit. It never likes, follows, posts or downloads anything.
